On my third visit, I finally get to go to the Louvre and see the Versailles. On a quick visit to Laure's parents' in Melun, I also saw the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte on which Versailles and Schönbrunn were modeled, among others. It also has a fantastic story.

Afra > Melun with quinine-based bitters from Corsica.

Afra > Laure posing with a picture from when she was 17 and was a model for a friend who was studying to become a make-up artist. Amazingly, the photo was nearly life-sized, which inspired me to take this.

Afra > Back in Paris at the Père-Lachaise cemetary. I'm not one for taking pictures with or of gravestones. I took this one to remember the name (Sa'edi was a contemporary Iranian author. I read his stories when I was younger.)
